Britain is waking up this morning to the truly dreadful news of the ISIS beheading of US news reporter James Foley and the threat of another murder of US citizen Steven Joel Sotloff . Please pray for the families of these men at this terrible time for them:

Our Lord in Heaven, please save us from this evil spreading throughout the land, this evil - surely the work of Satan and his followers. ISIS is not a terrorist organization. It is not a "consuming itself in warfare" commonality. The likes of ISIS has not been seen since the 1300s, when the Sunni Caliphate fell to the Golden Horde of Kubla Khan. This is a Caliphate, a very specific meaning to Sunni Muslims. They have declared al-Baghdadi as the heir of Muhammed, meaning he is the leader of all Muslims in all political and religious situations. This is the true Jihad, not what al-Qaeda is. People are leaving their terrorist groups, leaving America, Europe, Turkey, Jordan, Pakistan, the world because the Caliphate has been established once again. The Sunnis are rising to support this leader.

As a comparison, think of the amount of Jews who would flood Israel if the Temple were rebuilt? Think of the amount of Germans who returned home when Hitler called them to defend the Fatherland. These two comparisons if combined will give you an idea of what ISIS has done. Hardly. Already al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, and Hamas members in the Islamic State have been crucified. The heads cut off is something based out of the Middle Ages. They rule through Sharia law. The Shi'ites ruled in Syria, the Sunnis in Baghdad. To unite those two worlds would be the sign of his victory.
