If Scotland Secedes

1 This is good.
2 This is bad.
3 The Scots are Insane.
4 Counties & Shires Can Elect to Stay UK
5 It is a good example for Texas to Secede
6 It is a bad example, but Texas Should Secede
7 It is irrelevant, but Texas Should Secede
8 Texas Should stay in a Baby-murdering Sodomite Nation

Well, I marked the bottom to start a poll, but no poll appeared.
I don't know how to make a poll.
I would like to make this so you can choose more than one answer.
Also, I wanted to delete this, but couldn't find a way to do that either.

Will you insist that counties that vote to stay UK be allowed to stay UK?
Will you let Scotland have all the oil?
Will you ban the kilt & bagpipes in England?
What about all the pomp of British & royal ceremony with bagpipes?
What will you do when Scotland allies with Russia & rents a military base & port to Russia?

If they want to stay so be it.
The oil is almost spent - so yes.
No
We don't need bagpipes south of the border.
It won't happen.

Instead of Texas seceding I suggest that we annex Mexico.

I can hardly blame Scotland for wanting to get away from England. England is fast becoming an Islamic country.

I fouled up trying to make a poll for the first time. The poll ended up entitled something like Test Poll.

I hadn't thought of the Islamist thing. I have thought that with all these southern countries dying to come to the USA, the USA may as well annex them all. But the Tower of Babel story tells me that different languages will lead to splitting instead of union.

Does this mean it is a bad time to go visit Scotland? I haven't watched TV (live cable) in a little over 4 years so am in the dark of any problems in Scotland. Anyone like to bring me up to speed?

I will try. I believe that Scotland makes scotch tape. I think that they are into toilet paper too. They might need it.

Once upon a time there was an engineer
Choo Choo Charlie was his name, we hear.
He had an engine and he sure had fun
He used Good & Plenty candy
to make his train run.

Instead of Texas seceding, I propose that Texas lead a coalition of productive states that kick out the unproductive ones. I don't want to secede- I want to expel and welcome the prodigal sons again in forty years or so, perhaps under the guise of a reconquest.

That would be my attitude if I were an Englishman.

Then again if I were an Englishman, I would probably still want to move to the Western US. That place captured my heart.

Would be happy to move to Virginia. There are parts of the US I wouldn't want to move to but then there are parts of the UK I wouldn't want to move to either. I believe I live in the best part of England. I do envy the open spaces you have in the US. I believe there are good and bad points wherever you go.
On a different note, if the Scots opted out of the UK maybe we could stick to British summer time all year out instead of changing the clocks to suit the Jocks ;)

Virginia is a wonderful state from the Blue Ridges to the Shenandoah, the historic coasts, metropolitan north, and almost magical south-central. I can see why it would be your first choice. In fact, I'm good friends with an Englishwoman who lives not too far outside Richmond in Providence Forge.

I'm personally hoping to end up in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, or Alaska. We'll see.

Believe me, there are places in the US that would have me running back to the mother country if it were my only other option. Most of the English I have personally met and worked with are nice people too. Good neighbors to have and each of them had an awesome sense of humor. They turned me into a bit of anglophile, hahaha.
