Just so you know, I went to a mosque with my Seminary class. The imam knew the Bible as well as we did. We had a long discussion about who Jesus was. The imam told us his false gospel, and we told him our real gospel.

The professor of that class is a missionary to Muslims in Indonesia. He was on sabbatical the year I was privileged to take the course from him. He also said that he would make friends with Muslims, and then Jesus would come to them in dreams, and they would be saved, and risk death converting in that country.

I just read a book. It was about Muslims coming to Christ through dreams and visions they had about Jesus. This is an acceptable medium for God to reach them. But they always needed a Christian there to explain the dreams, and to help them understand the significance of who Jesus was. People are being saved all over the world who are Muslims. That is the way to fight Islam! Through the saving power of Jesus.

"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in himof whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?" Romans 10:14

God loves the people who are caught in the false religion of Islam. But he calls us to preach the gospel to these people, so that they might be saved. Not to sit back in judgment and condemnation.

I pray the rest of this forum will wake up and realize that Christ is calling us to share our faith with the world. Not to sit back in our comfortable homes and pews, and condemn the world.

Just a small correction here, unfortunately Islam is not the only religion which wrongly teaches that murder/genocide/democide, human enslavement, and severe persecution for the purpose of spreading the religion is justified. Historically, many pagan religions are equally guilty as is state atheism.

This is the only religion where they are commanded to fight and kill in the name of their god.

Living in India, I am quite familiar with the doctrines of Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, and Buddhism, apart from Christianity (Roman Catholicism included, as my family was initially Roman Catholic).

I feel that the only reason that India is not being dominated by Muslims is because of the Hindus. Christians, Jains, Buddhists, and Zoroastrians here are quite peaceful people. It's only been the Hindus who have fought back against the Muslims. Another passing thought is that, had not the British invaded and taken over India, India may have still been under the rule of the Mughal Empire, which was quite strict when it came to following their Islamic laws. So, guess there are good things we can take out of any situation that we perceive as bad. These are just my musings, and not solid facts.

I have actually been caught up in the middle of a communal riot once. It was awful! And, I was petrified. I was riding through this narrow road which had both a mosque and a temple. There was a rift between the Hindus and Muslims during that time. I can't remember the reason now. There have been way too many over the years. That day, the Hindus threw a slab of pork into the mosque, and the Muslims retaliated by throwing a hunk of beef into the temple. Man! TABOO!! You can only imagine the scene! I don't even remember how I got out of there, but I just know that God's hand of protection has been over my life numerous times over this short span of 24 years. God is good =)

Islam has a particularly bloody history in India. For example, historians assert that over 70 million Hindus were murdered by Muslims during Islam's expansionary period. You are correct that it was the fierce resistance of Hindus which prevented a complete takeover of India by invading Muslims as occurred in Persia, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Turkey, and North Africa.

It was also the fierce resistance of Christians that prevented Islam from completely taking over Europe which began under Charles "the hammer" Martel at the Battle of Tours that would have derailed the stupendous progress seen in modern Western Civilization from the establishment of the Holy Roman Empire forward.

It's difficult to imagine Europe trapped in a stagnated Muslim time-warp where women are covered head-to-toe and men stop to bow to mecca five times a day or face the wrath of a sharia court. It's difficult to imagine a world without the benefit of Christianized Western Civilization from which sprang everything from modern science to classical liberalism. Christian faith in reason and in progress was the foundation on which Western success was achieved... along with it's tolerance for dissent that led to the Enlightenment, etc...

How ironic that all these years later the greatest benefiters of Christianized Europe (e.g. liberal Westerners) are busy regressively repopulating their nations with Muslims. The results are already beginning to show:

We can and should pray for muslims to renounce satanic islam and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, but for yours and your children's sake be vigilant of these people. It is not safe to be around them.
