"Never look down on someone who's down and out unless you're lifting them up."

I saw this video today where two guys went around in a wealthy area telling people at restaurants eating fine meals that they were hungry and if they could spare just a little food.

The two guys were met with everything from a polite no to people cussing them out and threatening to call the police on them.

So check this out, then the two guys went to a local pizza place and bought large pizzas with everything on them and went down to a poor area where homeless people lived on the street with cups out begging for tips and passed out the pizzas to the homeless.

But wait it gets more interesting because then a friend of theirs (guy number three) went to the homeless that had just received the free large pizzas and said they were hungry and asked for a slice. EVERY homeless person gave them a slice!

When they did give up a slice of their free pizza, the third guy reached in his pocket after thanking them and gave them a hundred dollar bill and told them they were good people for helping another person (something the wealthy diners wouldn't do) and said, "God bless you."

Well, a few of the homeless actually cried when that happened as they were so touched.

Then the three guys said on the video that the motto they lived their life by was, "Never look down on someone who's down and out unless you're lifting them up."

I have to admit that I was deeply touched by the actions of these three guys going through all that trouble to help people and communicate the motto they live by in a video.

Let's all remember to "Never look down on someone who's down and out unless you're lifting them up."
