So this is really old, a few years old, forgot i had it in my computer, figured i'd share it with all of you
Thunder
That rumble that scared me as a child
That leaves the dog hiding under a blanket
The intense roar I hear outside my window
The grumbling sound I hear
As the rain falls pitter patter on the ground
And as lighting flashes bright in the sky
The powerful boom of thunder
The most comforting contribution to the storm
Reminds me of God’s power and might,
His strength that protects me
His judgment of every sin I commit
And his unfailing love
That forgives me every time I ask
And then I see the light
The sun after the storm
And the colorful rainbow
That reminds me that the storm is short
And He is in control
And calms the storm outside
As well as the storm in my heart
The constant battle of temptation
And Satan trying to win my soul
