" Longing for My Bride "


When I made the universe,the moon and the stars,the earth and the sun my work was not done

I made Angels and creatures both big and small,but still my work wasn't complete

My heart longed for something much more than these

I thought of the perfect bride someone after my own heart

Someone to spend eternity with Someone to rule and to reign with

In my kingdom we'd walk throughout eternity side by side and hand in hand

When I made the Angels spirits I gave a lot of thought and when I made the creatures in the ocean and told the waters where to part

I found my life with one missing part so I said to myself I will make myself a Bride so lovely so beautiful to love and to honor our hearts together knit as One we'd never part

With my hand I reached into my own heart and with that I formed the missing part

My beloved Bride made from my own heart
