The Speed Of Love

Love is born with lightning bolts
Electro-magnetic force
Burning skin and fireworks
A storm on a raging course
Like a force of nature
Love can fade with the stars at dawn
Sometimes it takes all your strength
Just to keep holding on

At the speed of love
A radiance that travels
At the speed of love
My heart goes out to you

Love is born with solar flares
From two magnetic poles
It moves towards a higher plane
Where two halves make two wholes
Like a force of nature
Love shines in many forms
One night we are bathed in light
One day carried away in the storms

At the speed of love
Nothing changes faster
Than the speed of love
My heart goes out to you

... Love is NOT love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.

O no, it is an ever fixèd mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wand'ring barque,
Whose worth's unknown although his height be taken...

From Sonnet 116
Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford.

Love hurts in the silence of the moment.
when there is no one there to love.
Love is bliss in chatter and
knowing that you are loved.

Love is ever changing as
the time goes by
from time always spent together
until the day you die.

The only true love ever that has
been known to mankind
Is the love of God in heaven
that caused His Son to die.

So lift your heads up children
knowing that your Father cares
His love is everlasting
He is always there.

Not 'also known as:' Edward de Vere is someone completely different.
Recent scientific research has convinced me 'Shakespeare's' plays and sonnetss
should be attributed to the earl...

Ah yes, we've all read the books and watched the films sense and sensibility,
But if the wrong one didn't get out of the way, the right one would not have pursued them.
They all got their happy ending, it all worked out hunky dorie.

Oh sure you were, everyone longs for response...I'm disappointed in you. You couldn't be more obvious. I am sorry, couldn't resist this time...
Don't worry, I am not here to harass you, This is my last response..

No worries, Katri. Harass away, as long as it's in moderation.

An addition to what I said: I was a taken by surprise at your reaction and I didn't really know how to answer that.
I know you were only being nice, but it made me feel happy, and it's appreciated. You have a very sweet heart.

A a song or a poem for me is not really necessary, I don't really think I deserve one from you.
Response is poem enough for me, I don't know how else to put it, Thankyou.

That's quite alright. I'm very glad it was received that way. :)

Aww, that's a kind and humble response! Remember: humility is not about thinking less of yourself, it's about thinking about yourself less.

Thanks Katri!

I don't know, I had a few ideas..
but I figured you weren't going to say anything. Your reply had shock value to it, I felt it only fair to reply in kind. I really don't know how to reply to niceness, never have. I wonder if anyone else feels the same shock value or if it is just me..

You know I get that advice a lot, so you are spot on with that. Again poems are not necessary, but that was kind of you. I feel I am overstepping my boundaries here. I just didn't want to leave it in a bad way...

You are very welcome. :)
