A little diddly...for I fear NO evil! Thou art with me! Thank you Jesus! Love you!

Well, I was walkin home from church, with bible in my hand
Of course, here come ol' sneaky snake, tryin to scare the land
I said "Old devil, I know you see,..the Lord Jesus is with me!"
"So you just back on up! Let me remind you Gods great plan!"

Well that devil scratched his horn and said " I know your right!"
"Cause you and ALL the other Christians, walk in Jesus light!"
"And all God's children don't fear me! I just creep on and leave you be,
For no Christian saved by God will fear my threat tonight!"

I showed the devil my new cross, and he cried tears of fear!
He ran and hid, when Gabriel proclaimed..." Jesus is here!"
"Now listen devil you can see, my children ALWAYS are with me!
So you will never have them! Do you hear me loud and clear!"

So that devil creeped on back to hell, where he belongs
So I continued on my path of light, with gospel songs
And I remember in lifes dark, God is always in my heart!
And the devil, CANNOT break those whose Faith is strong!

Hallelujah.... I love you Jesus....never afraid of evil! Amen

we all see the devil in person every day..in the form of people who wish to harm us.. robbers, rapists, murderers--the devil dwells within them all..

I know your intent here is awesome, but, as an experienced one who has witnessed demonic activity, seen people possessed and has been part of casting out demons, in the name of JESUS.......satan is an angel of light, coming in as a friend who does not fear 'your cross'. You can flash the BIBLE, your rosary, your Sunday School award, your church bulletin at him...it matters not. Keep in mind that satan tempted JESUS CHRIST, Himself....so you and I are not beyond being his target. I like your approach in this poem...but most CHRISTIANS cannot phathom the idea of witnessing a full fledged exorcism, where a person is being delivered from an obsession. I am not trying to paint a dark, gruesome picture here, but your sweet poem makes satan seem like a frolic in a park, zippidy doo dah day event when he approaches us.

Thank you for your honest opinion brother! I agree with your views on Satan. But my intent here...was my own need for courage, and bravery! No I do NOT believe Satan is a frollick in the park! But I do NOT fear him! And should he harm my body or not, I WILL be with Jesus!
Forgive me brother if you viewed my poem as taking Satan lightly...for I do not! But whatever it takes within my heart, to give me the courage to be a brave girl! I don't see how Jesus would have a problem in me doing so! My opinion of course. Thank you for yours brother, God bless you!

Can i ask, who gave you that authority?, just interested that's all, here in the UK i have never seen anyone possessed by a demon, or at least there is no proof either way, i believe a person can fall into a trap by going in the wrong places etc, most Christians i talk too are not over dramatic like you, but each to their own ways i suppose.





Lighten up, i'm sure the lady was writing poems in the God's light.
