Had to write a story of nature to go along with the theme of transcendentalism for class, and so I based it off of the Bible.:D I thought why not share it here too(I got a 100, of course)

Genesis

In the Beginning, All was well.
For they were new, and pure.
A Relationship made Perfect and Mature
Mother and Man, an undefiled matrimony.
A Still Voice had caused this for sure.
Mother, Kind and Caring, Her Charm unlike any.
She was a beacon of Neverending Peace.
Her Beauty was perfect and unmatched.
She was Compassionate; Her Words soft and subtle like honey.
Within Her, a Secret Pleasure, irresistible to Man but remained untouched
Man wanted from afar but did not touch.
In the Beginning, Mother was well.

Man was strong and simple.
A simple Breath to make Man Official.
Man ruled over all, and Mother allowed it.
Man was Simple, Naive, Pure, and Silent.
Man was with Mother, and things were fine.
Man was a Strong Voice that ruled them all.
Yet, within sometime, a certain serpent saw man’s voice deplete.
Mother sat still, Her nature perfect,
but a forbidden fruit- Man oh-so wanted.
In the Beginning, Man was well.

The Serpent was smooth and free.
His words were slick you could guarantee.
With a passion of evil, he slithered in to make a plea.
he whispered in Man’s ear,”The Fruit is good, don’t disagree.”
Man wasn’t worried of the wrath,
as a sweet desire was in His path.
With one swift motion, He took a bite,
of a fruit so good, he couldn’t fight.
The serpent heard a Boom and slithered away,
man, embarrassed, ran away.
All was not well. All was not well.

man and Mother were no longer the same for what was done, couldn’t be changed.
With just one bite, man was dethroned, and Mother took the crown as the Queen of Her Home.
Mother could never forgive man of such.
When she talked, her words were lashes against the skin.
She Yelled, Screamed, and Swore, and peace was nevermore.
Mother was Calm in one season and Upset in the next.
She cried on one day and was vengeful another.
She made man fight, to secure his spot at home.
Her beauty depleted and her Hair fell out.
In the End, She was not man’s friend.

man grew weak and puny.
his mind filled with questions he could not stop.
man fought through mother’s rage,
but the rage in himself was not stopped.
man lost it himself, where did he even begin?
man was now lost and he couldn’t find
that ‘ole still voice that use to shine.
Mother’s wrath took him of surprise
as She took Her place on the throne of The Big Home.
He soon lost the thoughts he use to have,
his psyche changed, replacing the simple things.
In the End, man couldn’t repent.

In the End, Nothing was the same.
The serpent was too deep in man’s brain.
And Mother let Her bipolar illness reign.
man tried and tried to understand Mother’s pain.
However, man found it was in vain.
So he sat and thought of Her Good Ways.
She was not the same, but She still had Her Sweet Ways.
When She wasn’t Angry, she Passed by
to give man a Kiss, like She did long ago.
In One Big Home would they dwell.
In the End, All was well.
