Old Satan tries the same old tricks , he's always full of lies.
He may not steal all of your joy, but believe me he always tries .
He'll offer you the whole wide world , while he's taking your soul away.
That's when Jesus gives you the strength , to look at the Devil and say.
You didn't bare those stripes upon your back ,
you didn't shed your blood for the lost ,
you didn't feel those nails pierce your hands,
you didn't hang on a rugged cross,
you didn't lay in a cold dark grave,
you didn't set the captive free,
you didn't rise again in just three days,
Like Jesus did for me.
