Lord I call out to Your name every day,
Somehow my inhibitions seem to change in every way....
Surrounded by corruption on each and every side,
I'm sure eager for the day I can say bye...
When I get this way it's no wonder I feel alone,
A life of constant struggle, and not a place really to call home...
Walking every which way on the distant plains,
Bearing the sting of loneliness but hanging on to Your name...
Then when I feel at my lowest spot in life,
I remember it wasn't I who gave up his life...
That someone loved me so much, He gave His life for me,
That someone already paid the price for eternity...
Then all the rejection of the world seems to fall away,
A burden has been lifted, and I can feel Your embrace...
The pain holding me back is now transformed into joy,
I thank you each day Lord, for my amazing boy...
He shows me that in defeat there is still life,
He counts on me, to stand by his side...
The trials of my life, only prepared me for this day,
You knew I would endure God, through your amazing grace...
Thank you for reminding me, that life is all about faith.
