Do you?...
Haiku (俳句 high-koo) are short poems that use sensory language to capture a feeling or image. They are often inspired by an element of nature, a moment of beauty, or a poignant experience. The Bible provides a treasury of great inspiration for this form of poetry writing. With this in mind, I wanted to created this thread in hopes that others will participate creatively (either authored or found) by sharing inspirational, funny or thought provoking Haiku's...

Childlike, Jonah disobeyed God's will,
Creating time-out in a whale of fishy ingestion,
Blooming again into God's forgiveness.

Helpful Tips; The secret to writing great haiku is to be observant and appreciate nature. Double entendres are welcome and highly encouraged to create a thought provoking Haiku... and please don't forget to have fun with this...

Proverbs 15:13 A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed.

Ship of obedience,
Noah's faith built two by two,
Withstanding natures correction...

Buds of evidence bloom, then seed,
In Christ's care.

Gay Rights

Our muted silence has spoken,
Against the roaring of destructive tides,
Forgetting God is the Ocean.

The sea indeed speak ill
of Christs deeded seal
The promise draweth nigh
Proclaim him ,the bruised of heel

Its hard to be sure whether or not you are doing an original Haiku or whether it was just buried in the back of you're memory.
green to white to green/ the bloom is off the peace lily;/ reading the sad news
one hot harsh white light/ keeps the room bright, the clock glows/ I can't sleep at all!
mountains grey water obsidian under ice, yes, summer will come
blue dawn, unseen sun,/ rhythm, rhyme, and harmony;/ sun syncopation
the grey of the storm/ tall trees cast darker shadows;/ they fall on the road
yellow becomes green/ as little plants eat the sun,/ and it shines any way

I had trouble posting so the format is a little hard to read. The third haiku should read
mountains grey
water obsidian under ice;
yes, summer will come
