Do not stay
Don't linger
Keep your course
Don't be afraid, persevere

The locals hate you
There are thieves and violent men
Don't be afraid, persevere

Though you may never see a friendly eye.
And though you may never meet them
on the road or in the town
You have allies in this world

They too desire God.
Don't be afraid, you are not alone
You have a home with family waiting
beyond all journeys end.

The way may be hard beyond all endurance
By all means endure it
Even if you must long endure
perfect pain

If you stumble right yourself.
If you fall get up again
Pace yourself,
The journey may be long
and its too hot to race

Don't be afraid, persevere

If by chance you find an inn, and it seems good to stay,
rest, but when its time again move on.

Don't forget to rest.

If you meet friends on the road be weary
Many friends are false
Many others are fools
Do not be afraid, persevere

The sun will bake you,
but even in the desert the moon is cold

Carry water and food and whatever you need.

If you get lost on the long road pray, and head back
