Father what do i taste like
What's my taste upon your lips
Because everything about me
Is like a first fruit offering your lips sip

I know about communion
I've seen it done before
I sipped a cup handed to me
But it wasn't directly yours..

Now we are eating and communing
I'm thinking of you more and more
And everything I do each day
I want your cup and plate
Fuller and cleaner than before

I'm talking about this cup
The empty one I'm holding in my hand
I'd like to put something back in
Before I put it back into your hands..

Im learning everything about me
Is like that of me feeding something to you
My filthy plate, my dirty Cup
