He Who Suffered

Mankind’s only hope at a loss
His blistered hands nailed to the cross
His time was soon to come
Asking his father to forgive them; soon after succumbed
And when all the blood secreted from his veins,
Mankind was released from their shackles and chains.



wrote this back in college...found much of my inspiration in scripture :)
