That is beautiful!
And I don't mean to change the topic but I gotta say, the night I gave my life over to God, I had this thought/dream/vision whatever you want to call it..I won't go into detail but it was storming.. And after I made my decision the sky changed. It was still storming all around except right above me and that is what the sky looked like.. Just like it.
Thank you for posting it. :)
That is a beautiful testimony.
To me, this one looks like dreams feel, when you are trying to move, but feel weighed down.
I see calm on the right side, but turbulence and weight holding back the weird figure in the center from reaching the calm.
Ukorin never explained this one to me. He just says it is "l'eau oublié".

Sorry for going off topic :/
That's what I thought as well!
Maybe you should ask him to explain it? That is if you haven't already. Your brother is very talented. Both paintings are very amazing.

I use "brother" loosely, but yes.
I am staying with him and his family for the summer.
The blood we share is not hereditary, but it is just as strong.
Actually, it is stronger.

I'm not sure I understand what the 'metal discus' is. Isn't a discus something you throw horizontally into the air to see how far it travels? Like for Sports Days? The symbolism of the metal discus is confuzzling me.
Tintin,
I suspect you wouldn't have a problem with it if it were the top portion of a tin can.

Just looked it up. You're right.

That's what I did. Just wasn't sure if correct.

Did your brother take an art class? Just curious. Learn a lot. I took art class history. Very informative.

Never forget about the waters of the beginning, of tohuwabohu, of chaos and desolation,
they're still there and make their presence felt in the lives of men.

Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep,
and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
(Genesis. 1:2 /NIV)

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!”
Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
(Mark 4:39 / NIV)

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21:1,4/ NIV)

to me, it looks like something is in chaotic brewing - and will soon come-out
and make itself known.....

*groan* Haha! Tintin is actually a cartoon character, a boy reporter/detective who solves crimes and travels the world solving mysteries and hunting down the bad guys. But you're close. ;)

The first seems to be a photo from a rectal scan. And the second one is God's arms embracing several small people.
