Hope follows all those failed,
dignity driven through a mirrored veil,
die before life and live before pride,
a breath away in the depths of your eyes.

Alone and deprived - a small child fights,
curled up in a ball to hide from what might -
a sin found his way and together they rise,
who would have known how holy the devils child could shine?

Crying for some peace of mind,
scars and hearts and parts unwind,
playing your role in the theater of life,
faking a world where a smile is kind.

A grasp of clawing on a childs throat,
the laughter and gasps forming a sweet note,
left laying numbly: alive or dead?
The person in the bottle unaware of this debt,
What's more important - Your child or Your faith?

Btw I do not use the word faith in this context as being Christanity I mean it more generally as an individuals own personal beliefs
