I know neither was Rome
It has a certain comfort
Not exactly a castle
But an expanding mote
A fortress called home
The defense to which I resort
Hidden from attack more a hassle
On the door a scribbled note
these walls may look of stone
but they are fragile and crumble
keeping me protected...yet alone
so if they crack and tumble
to you this I impart
I fear which way they fall...
for they guard my heart
