When I look around LORD, it is easy to see
That things are no longer how they used to be
It seems that the world prefers darkness to LIGHT
They take what's all wrong, and claim it's all right
They teach children lies, and call what's bad; good
They ban Your Word Lord, everywhere they could
And it's heartbreaking My God, all that I see
To witness this world's insanity
But at the same time it's exciting to me
Because Your word Teaches that such things must be
At the close of the age, when You come again
To Claim and to Judge the sons of men
Even so Maranatha! Praise to the KING!
My Prayer is Simple Lord, That I'm able to Stand
That I may be guided by Your Merciful Hand
That while this world crumbles from their errant choice
That I listen only for the Sound of Your Voice
That I may be bold in speaking the Truth
That I do not forsake the God of my Youth
That You use me LORD to bring Glory to You
That others see You in what I do
amen
