The Day

The day Heaven cried
The Lord crucified
For a momemt heaven's sky
Fell dark

The day angels wings
Failed to fly
Failed to sing
Was when wounds filled His body and heart

The day music ceased
To play in the breeze
Of Heaven's eternal sunshine

Was the day Heaven cried
The Lord crucified
He's Alive...
And we'll meet Him in time

A Winter Sunday
Not far apart
From God's precious love
And spring in my heart
I love You today
So everything is okay
I am blessed...not sad
For what I already have
A poor girl's jewel
That brings wisdom
Too fools
Everyday I am blessed
For God knows me best
On a winter Sunday
I am never apart
From heaven's spring
And God's love in my heart

A Sunday Thought

If I close my eyes
To the bluest sky
God's love would lead me blind
Even when I fall
It is worth it all
For my pain will be left far behind
And if a wise man walks
And he stumbles torn
The wounds never reach his soul
But if a fool walks easy and faithless
He stumbles without precious God
This I know

Good Memories

The sky touches my soul every dawn
Like a brush touches canvas
When I ask for God he is here
When I need His arms He is here
God is the artist
I am the paint
And life is the canvas
What colors I choose
Is up to me in God's design
I shall choose the color of light

A degree of the faithless
Is what they don't know
Bless their hearts
The science touches there soul
Non believers say why?
Why can't faith lead us?
But if they give
It a chance

I once knew a man that I loved

Jesus was born
Our saviour torn
But there was Jonh the Babtist
His love no end
To Jesus friend
Once there was John the Baptist
So sad in life
Love's crucified
In Jesus
But
John the Baptist
Was Jesus servant of God's word
His name was John the babtist
I won't think of
The day he died
God's servant
John the babtist
He followed Jesus
Preached His words
God's friend was John the Baptist!

A poem for singles in God


Alone
Yes we taste tears upon pillows
While dreaming of true love
Slow dancing through willows

But patience
In God
Never stray from the light
And alone
Pray and God
Makes everything alright

Like a sparrow
That sings in the morning sun
For a seed
I try be
The joyous one

For God, My Lord God, God... yes
Loves me
And even alone
I have strength above me


Love
Yes love
Do this instead of tears
For tears are a waste
Of what's promised thru years

Lilies won't deny
Their presence in the spring
Just as angels don't deny
That it is love that makes them sing
Just as a butterfly
Spreads her wings as I cry
My sorrow is on God's mind
He calls to me....inside of me
Leave all past regret behind
And tho my footsteps may tell the tale
Of a fading rose
We breathe in light
And still can fight
For love...love inside that grows
And tho the world can be so tough
God bless us love and strength
Like angels that do not deny
The love for which they sing

The Sound

The willows silent
Sparrows bow to the ground
For Jesus triumphant
Is the only sound
Forgiveness the symphony
Imperfections no longer bound
As Jesus triumphant
Is the only sound
As a sinner I lay
At His feet and I pray
In the light
That embraces me around
And any love I didn't have
No longer makes me sad
For my salvation
I have found
For Jesus triumphant
Is the only sound

Should I meet Jesus
Before next dawn
I will not be scared to go
I will cry Jesus you're my song
Oh Jesus you know my heart
I'm so sorry when I did things wrong
Should I meet Jesus
Before the dawn

I will say
Can I meet Gabriel lol
And hear an angel sing
No need to lead me to golden streets
But can I see a mountain stream
Can I sing for you Jesus
Forever after I die?
And praise you in that big old golden church
Up in the sky
Until I see you Jesus
I will do my best to be strong
I'd come to you with all my love

Pause for just one moment
Breathe into the Lord
Forget about what you can't change
In this evil world
Pause for just a moment
And remember inside of you
There is an awesome amazing person
Waiting to break through
Mirrors can lie
Showing the outside
But the outside doesn't matter to Jesus
I live to praise Him
For the way He loves us
Is what in glory will free us

So pause for a moment
Think about love
And all you are meant to be
Pause and breathe in
That God loves you
And all He will set sorrows free

I miss my grandma
I just wrote this poem thinkin about her because when I was little she would say...."Hold that bible honey...when life is tough...hold that bible"

When life gets rough
When you are weak or tired of cryin
Or in pain when life is tough
Hold that bible
Give all your heart to the Lord
Cuddle that bible
And His glory in His word

Never give up on yourself
Always trust in Jesus name
I will hold that bible
And love strong even in pain

I know I'm not alone

For Jesus is our song
