in ways I could never explain
God has brought you to me

I used to be in love with another woman
and I tried to impress her with my best actions
gave her my best poetry and songs
my best gifts and attention
to just be ignored and ridiculed
you were there next to me
watching me weep with frustration
cause my biggest crush was becoming my fall
and I didn't want to see it

And suddenly God used His wisdom
and using circumstances far beyond my comprehension
He made us meet in harsh conditions
where our lives were practically broken
when hell was breaking loose
He made us know each other
in moments of despair and anguish

And all I did was to turn away from you
my eyes were fixed in only one woman
and that woman was my goal
without knowing my future wife
was looking at me with sadness

God made me see
that beyond beauty and popularity
there's virtue and longsuffering
things I denied to see to just kiss
a magazine woman to feel like a man

May your tears water tenderly your delicate rose
And may God grant that love between thee grows
Let the root of love between thee go deep

That this flower of love endures no matter how the wind blows
May the cup of your joy be filled until it overflows
Hold the good woman in comfort to your heart close
Praise Jesus and may your love he keep.
