My recent ex and i used to enjoy taking pictures of clouds. I had been trying to win her back, and a few days ago i wrote this about her. She could be difficult, hence the beginning part, but always felt she was worth it.
I Know Why You Like Clouds
I know why you like clouds,
because you are so like them.
You can be dark and turbulent,
with flashes of anger
and booming echoes of impatience.
Producing words of wind
that replicate the destruction
and chaos you hold within.
But this is not all the cloud holds,
wind and rain and threat amidst
a great clamor.
Clouds are also delicate,
the slightest breeze breaking them apart.
A loosely knit fabric of cleansing water,
whose presence can blind you from
everything else around you.
Holding and releasing a
torrent that puts out the burning fires.
Or a gently falling mist of restoring rain
to heal the hearts of the suffering.
Or like a mirror
reflecting the beautiful light.
A splendid and dazzling display of colors
sending all that gaze up it into awe and adoration.
The view an ever changing kaleidoscope,
constantly moving to create new alluring views.
A cloud is a perfect example of
God's love and wrath.
Something you not only fear,
but also that you can't live without.
You, Cara, are God's magnificent cloud.
And like with God,
