The Great I AM

The Great I Am


The great I am, whispered, "Let it be."
He created the stars, the sky, you and me.
The great I am, whispered, "Peace be still."
The ocean stopped moving because it was his will.
The great I am, shouted, "Lazurus come forth!"
Behold, Lazurus lived again to show his worth.
The great I am, sacrificed it all,
To save humanity and obey his Father's call.
The great I am, rose on the third day.
To return to his Father and leave us the Holy Spirit to pray.
The great I am, was in the beginning,
And will be in the end.
The great I am, he is,
My Lord, my Savior, and my friend.
