Wrapped in feather silks of white,
and pure gold sash of crystal light.
I waltz carefree
I float with glee
My Saviour by my side.

Swathed in spacious freedom, lo,
emerald valley's gleaming, grow.
Sunbathed in care
My heart laid bare
My Saviour by my side.

Enthralled in novel songs to learn,
with hungry passion, thirsty yearn,
I soak it up
I fill my cup
My Saviour by my side.

And when I lay me down to sleep,
I am fulfilled, secure, complete ...
In peace, I rest
Intensely blest


My Saviour by my side.To me Heaven is more about being with God than it is about walking on streets paved of gold. He is Heaven.
