M
One word with a stolen kiss,
A broken promise lovers miss,
Secrets hidden by a cry,
Don’t hold the feelings or compromise,
You are the hope within my eyes.
A carpet of broken glass revealed,
The stages into sacrificial deeds,
On the kitchen floor awaken me,
A shove at the baby who made you his queen.
Collect a dime to spend in kind,
On heartfelt gifts unknown to thine,
A shaking faith wavered at the stake,
A baby lonely and curdling fate.
A daggered grasp with every drink,
A violet keystone in the wrist,
A soulless nightmare shrieking seeds,
Screaming at the memories,
The babies’ eyes scarred from the hurt they see.
The adored nature of the innocent minds,
Oh! How do they perceive thy monsters slime?
As an adult may I kindly say,
You tore me apart but I will forgive you today.
But the cancer I’ve got can never repay,
No finding recovery – only a way to be safe,
Safe in the prison for what guilt was displayed.
Your baby shall perish a slave to your pain.
