Hi My Name is Destiny

Hey you, can we talk? I know you may not remember me, but my name is Destiny

Yes DESTINY, you know the one you used to talk about almost everyday

Until something happen that made you walk away

I never understood what happen... I mean we used to be the best o friends

Remember that day you promised to be totally SOLD OUT to me until the very end?

Still don't remember me?.... MY NAME IS DESTINY

I know I may look a little different through the eyes of your pain

I may even look a little less promising but I promise I'M STILL THE SAME

What happen to make you walk away from me?

Was it the hurt? was it the rejection? was it the abandonment? Or was it the insecurity?

I mean you used to believe in me until something happen that stripped away your belief

What happen to you? I remember you used to be SO FREE

Everything you did, and yes even everything you said was centered around me

You even nurtured me as if everything that I was, was the ONLY reason you were living

Did you forget that my presence in your life is what gave you your healing?

I know life happened but let's start over

Can we be friends again?

Even through the tough times, heartache, and pain I promise NOTHING has changed on my end

Remember it wasn't until you met me that everything in your life began to have meaning

The pain. The hurt. The rejection. The abandonment. ALL OF IT is centered around me

Still having trouble remembering me?..... MY NAME IS DESTINY!

I really liked your poem,

but, you must learn, everything and everyone changes,,,only Jesus remains the same,
you can only put your heartfelt trust in Him first, and then, He will impart the gift of discernment
and teach you whom you can truly Trust,,,for real Trust is an Holy Gift...

Thanks so much for your comment! But I think you missed the whole meaning of this poem. It has nothing to do with trust or even trusting in man for that matter. It was about realizing that every single thing that you go through is centered around your God given Destiny. This is a poem speaking from your Destiny's point of view. Letting you know that even though you went through what you went through there's still hope and Destiny STILL awaits you!
