How many messages in a bottle do I have to send out,

Before you take notice I'm standing on the other side of the shore,

How many times do I have to yell out for help,

Before you open your hand and help me out of my hole,

Do you know what I've been doing for the past eight or so years,

Going round other peoples stupid circles, and losing my mind,

But I think I understand, they never told you enough,

So I did enough for the both of us, so they tied me hand and foot,

And threw me in the deepest part of wants sea,

And I've been drowning ever since they knew that I loved you.

It's nothing new to me, but it's not nothing you see

And all I can do is throw out as many messages in a bottle

And hope one washes up on your shore.

Your poem reminds me of a poem i wrote many yrs ago...

The Beach

Its a beautiful and sunny day,
And I begin to pray,
I thank the spirits 4 all the things,
The sand,the ocean,
The beach.
I watch the waves, as they gently move,
Splashing on the sand,
I see a crab staring at me,
And I wave at it with my hand.
Digging my toes deep into the sand,
I start to think of you,
I know your thinking about the exact same thing,
Exactly like me too.
Scooping the sand, with my cupped little hands,
I look at it anew,
Knowing my love,
You're here with me
Inside my heart too
