There's not one most favorite food.. Here's one (food and poem), tried a few mos. ago.
Soursop*
Excited as I sliced the slightly soft,
Softly spiked heart-shaped green fruit,
Creamy juice oozes out of the white cottony flesh.
Its flesh can be likened to a cotton ball, in fact... a fibrous gauze!
But mind you, the taste and smell
are great.
You can find it sweet and sour,
Or plain,
which is just sweet, but lovely.
The black seeds are less hard to remove than the smaller,
and more naturally slidy or slippery
seeds of the watermelon.
I hear the glossy leaves
You can make into tea to treat cough, asthma, even cancer.
But don’t worry.
Where I live in the humid tropics
There is plenty
And it doesn’t cost that much as the dark black grapes,
but is just as healthy and yummy..
* Guyabano or Graviola (Annona muricata)
