Musings On Clouds
A drop of rain,
A thousand thoughts.
A drop of rain,
Two thousand thoughts.
A vision in the distance,
A million miles away.
Is it real,
Or an illusive dream,
Like a mansion in the sky.
A sip of coffee,
A powdery heaven,
Misty eyes;
Father Divine
And through my mind
Of fluffy clouds on
Lemon pie.
With each morsel I swallow
That fills the hollow
Of something missing
Displacing the hunger
With sweet ambrosia.
A breath, a sigh,
A little cry
And warmth surrounds me
His Spirit is here,
And comes inside.
A drop of rain,
A thousand thoughts.
A drop of rain,
Two thousand thoughts.
A vision in the distance,
A million miles away.
Is it real,
Or an illusive dream,
Like a mansion in the sky.
A sip of coffee,
A powdery heaven,
Misty eyes;
Father Divine
And through my mind
Of fluffy clouds on
Lemon pie.
With each morsel I swallow
That fills the hollow
Of something missing
Displacing the hunger
With sweet ambrosia.
A breath, a sigh,
A little cry
And warmth surrounds me
His Spirit is here,
And comes inside.
