The battle is the Lord’s , but we often feel the blows
The enemy of our faith , plants his seeds in many rows
he reaps ungodly mayhem , in the pastures of our mind
Hoping to unravel , our faith to make us blind
But our Savior won the battle , after crying it is done
Satan has been defeated , by the Father’s only Son
So when he tries to wound us, our faith can help us see
That Jesus’ scars are permanent , so ours don’t have to be.
