I watch them nail you to my cross...As tears fill up my eyes.

The laughter of the crowd I hear.... beyond your painful cries.

" A king of kings " they say in vien... "come down and we'll believe.

"God's gift of Love, they cannot see...Thier hearts will not recieve.

A crown of thornes upon your head...to mock your righteous claim.

Their Saviors blood Spills to the ground...Yet no one calls your name.

A few of us stand far away...We know you are the One.

We cry the tears and feel the pain...of Losing God's own son.

As life begins to leave your face...and darkness fills the sky.

You chose to die for all of us....Sometimes I wonder why.

One final cry " it's finished"...your spirit is set free.

It breaks but Heals my heart inside....Those nails were meant for me.

Luke 23:44-49 "And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. 46And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.48And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned. 49And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things."
