In the wilderness ( a story poem - they are much more difficult for me to write)

In the wilderness where I lay,
God has left me!
God has left me!
I say.
Day after day,
as I wallow in grief,
I pray unto Him,
but He doesn't answer me.
Until one night...an angel
glowing in pure splendor
appears before me and declares,
"who are you to demand of God
and why must He answer?"
I answered and said,
"I have prayed here day and night
in the wilderness, and I believe
God answers prayers.
The angel spoke one last time and said,
God answers prayers in His own time,
and you my "friend" haven't waited long
enough.
And just as he appeared....so was he gone.
