Pages so delicate and thin, it seems almost a sin
To begin to read and learn and meditate on this
The Word.
Yet it is with utmost patience and loving care,
That God shows us He is there.
He guides us day by day through precious
Page after page.
“Follow me” is his mantra
And we do.
Pick up the cross and follow so close
We cannot get lost.
We fall, we fight,
But if in those pages, we pray we might
Find our way and someday
Hear Him lovingly say,
Well, done good and faithful servant.
