It's getting late, I'm growing weary
My body sore, my mind wandering
Reflecting, rejoicing, the day is over
It's beauties woven into my heart.
Spring air is looming, teasing, even
Today when it's still a month away
Knowing there is more winter to come
Before the grasses relax and start
Growing and brightening into their
Summer greens and the flowers
Breathing into the summer air with
Their scents so lovely, their dreams
In every breath and in full bloom
Brighten the colors of each morning.
How lovely to sense that frangrance
Again, to dream to love to drink in
The romance of the setting sun in the
Warmth of a late June evening, sitting,
Holding hands with Jesus, sweet love
Each day a treasure with each blink of
An eye and each breath of happiness.
