Sorrow prepares us for joy
It is the light after darkness,
Both are natural progressions.
So we don't curse the darkness
It is the prelude to the sunshine
A seed must die to give birth
To a new flower, without sadness
There is no joy to appreciate.
So we tarry in the darkness, then
We can rejoice in the light; this is
The law of God's creation just as
His glory explodes in the Spring
After the grueling Winter frosts.
Then the birds, the blossoms, the
Scents of eternity are revealed.
It is the light after darkness,
Both are natural progressions.
So we don't curse the darkness
It is the prelude to the sunshine
A seed must die to give birth
To a new flower, without sadness
There is no joy to appreciate.
So we tarry in the darkness, then
We can rejoice in the light; this is
The law of God's creation just as
His glory explodes in the Spring
After the grueling Winter frosts.
Then the birds, the blossoms, the
Scents of eternity are revealed.
