In the early morning as we awaken
We walk into God's garden through
A narrow gate to a blessed ground
Graciously planted by Him, Joyfully
Tended by hands that he created,
And we harvest the fruits that will
Nourish the day and as we partake
Of the harvest, careful not to waste,
We eat what we can and leave the
Rest until tomorrow since His crop
Is eternal. And after we have been
Enriched and fed by His guidance
We fill our basket and carry it to our
Neighbor so that he may also eat and
The fruit and know that our God is love.
