A song for my Lord I sing
This day in middle Spring
And in the gardens past,
I find a rose of red at last
Fragrant as angels' lips
Sweet as wine's little sips.
I see Jesus near my side
A church bell is His bride
Among the blossoms we walk
By gardens we stop and talk
And as our hearts stand still
We sing our hymns at will,
About life's span of years
Love so beautiful, brings tears.
Tears are filled with sorrow
Tears capturing joys of tomorrow
Come sweetly to us; days of Spring
Bring us flowers and birds to sing.
This day in middle Spring
And in the gardens past,
I find a rose of red at last
Fragrant as angels' lips
Sweet as wine's little sips.
I see Jesus near my side
A church bell is His bride

Tears are filled with sorrow
Tears capturing joys of tomorrow
Come sweetly to us; days of Spring
Bring us flowers and birds to sing.
