Thus the hours passed
As if some moments in a dream,
And we beheld eternity
Forever before, forever after.
The skies were blue
Fields were green with
With blankets of grasses
Flowers radiated from the earth.
Like a painting on a canvass
Life burst forth in endless flows
Trees lined up, row upon row.
And in the silence of the night
In the darkness and quiet
Stillness was the messenger
Between our hearts.
Truth is still and transcends
The silence of the night.
Love bears it witness
And still in the breaking of the day.
