How much longer must I wait until your return

How much longer until blood is no longer shed and death no longer stings

When will my redemption finally come and my suffering be no more

I'm waiting

At least the blind cannot see the evil of this world

At least the deaf cannot hear the words of the wicked

At least those without speech cannot speak foul things

I'm waiting

When my time will come I do not know

For my destiny is in the earth

To be buried and forgotten until your return

At least in death my tears will be gone

I will be waiting forever if I have to

Waiting to hear the sound of your trumpets

Waiting to hear the shout of your voice

I will slumber until you unearth me

Until then, I'm waiting
