This is one of my earlier written poems, at that time I thought that you could use the word blending which in this case is supposed meaning the same as what you say about "blinding light", I thought it was said like this: "blending light". Haha! I discovered not so long ago that the word blends is something totally different than from the word blinds. But since I wrote this poem quite some while ago, I won't change it. Just thought of letting you know in case you found this strange.
-Oh Rose of Sharon-
Oh Rose of Sharon,
your beauty blends
my heart apart.
How can I resist such
of an mighty presence
standing before your throne?
Rather do I have to fall
down on my knees in deep
respect for Thee,
My King.
Oh Rose of Sharon,
your beauty takes
my breath away.
How can I live seeing your
face of truth and righteousness?
Rather do I have to bow
down my face to the ground
in deep awe for Thee,
My King.
Oh Rose of Sharon,
your beauty is eternal.
You are like an fruitful flower
that never gets dim,
your petals reflects your
everlasting Kingdom and Glory.
How can I turn away from
such a splendid beauty?
Rather do I wish to die
for your Kingdom,
than perish forever.
