Haiku Style Poem

Unfathomable
The depth of his love for us
Children of The LORD

Inexplicable
His presence alive in me
Grace pulsating life

Undeniable
The finished work of the cross
His blood ransomed me

Impenetrable
The fortress of God my King
Secure by His Might

Excruciating
Bearing the pain of my sin
Loved me to the cross

Impermeable
Death has lost its power
Blood retains the keys

Majestically
Jesus ascends to heaven
To prepare my home

Exhuberantly
My heart listens for His call
I am Homeward bound

Gratuitously
I was created for love
To be loved by Him

Indispensable
Life’s necessity for God
Without which I die

Very nice! And a good challenge to read out loud! Especially the first main word in each poem passages.

Thank you. It was my first Haiku and it was instructed to have a 5-7-5 syllable rhythm to it. So, if you read it with that in mind, it flows a little easier off the tongue

I am normally not such a great fan of Haiku style poems, I have read/heard other ones which weren't as deep written, so that was my first idea of it back then. But the way you write it then it does has more deepness added to it, so that changes my view a bit, seeing that a Haiku poem can be written in a deep form as well.

Since I am not an english native speaker I found the first words you put on each passages difficult for me to pronunce, that was more what I refered to when reading the poem out loud. The rest went fine reading.

Well, I am born and grew up in Norway, yet we talked a lot in spanish at home from an early age because our mother is spanish. That makes me wonder if the spanish language was taught first to us since it is officially the main language our mother talked with to us --> "mother tounge". But if you look at the country where I was born and grew up then it is norwegian. I see both languages as mother tounge languages to me, though, or spanish is also a very close language to me, too.
