This goes with A Ready Heart:

~The Hammer

Sometimes it takes a gentle tap
Upon the thin veneer
To penetrate the heart of man
To see My Son so clear.

It’s not My Way to crush the stone
For dust is all of man.
My Hammer is a different tool
Creates and forms My Plan

I smooth and shape these Living Stones
Into My One New Man.

O Child if you could see ahead
The future held for you..
You would not fear the gentle touch
The Hammerer’s Love flows through.

there is wisdom in understanding that a hammer can be used to smash things into pieces but it is much more effective for building, even God knows this.

I wasn't too sure of this Blain because there is a scripture that says a hammer breaks rock or something similar.

So I checked...and there is also a scripture that says a stone is rounded this way. Will have to find it. I haven't posted that poem for a while.
