I see many lights in the world shining so bright, but soon they grow gloom until it's nothing but night.
where do I go when it's all starts to change? Where is the light that will remain the same?
I wonder in rain, sunshine, and snow, to find something higher than what's down below.
I'm tired of smiling and then getting sad, laughing for good when it's nothing but bad.
On and off, side to side and up and down, nothings consistent but only when found, later it changes and falls to the ground.
Where is the peace that stays? the joy that remains, the sweet wine that does not grow bitter, why does it spread out like cats from their litter? Everything I touch seems dense in my hand, then falls apart like watering sand. I finally realize that the world is temporal, which makes my mind temporal when I look to things that also are, I'm hungry inside for something more.The rich have sorrow just as the poor, each one eats and sleeps, and walks beneath stars, and inside each bleed and carry their scars. So even if I were to conquer the world and be mighty as Alexander the great, it would not be great, but a lonesome mistake. You could feel small, though you were to have it all, rise up in power but soon would fall. If not from yourself or the world down below, then from death itself, at a time no one knows. So no matter what it's all just a trap, like a movie that's filming and then it's a wrap. But now I see a book that holds secrets and time, that of the past and the future finish line. What has begun and what is to come, though it's not over it's already done. Just as the spirit in the world has taught me lies, so the spirit in this book has opened my eyes. Now I see what I could not see, the God of the universe lives inside me, not as the world in loss and defeat, but He remains faithful whole and complete. He makes me the same by the image he gave, now there is victory over the grave, and nothing to lose, but plenty to gain, just on going laughter and joy with no pain. We suffer to glory, and then there's just glory, that is the tale of a christian's story. Forever with God in eternal bliss, wiping no more tears because there's nothing to miss. We have everything in him and in us, we just have to know it and finally wake up. Have I been sleeping all of this time? well now I'm awake and completely refined, at last with God and now I just shine. So now I say to you in the dark, it's time to find the spark. Take my hand and don't give up, you have only been sleeping, but now it's time to wake up.
