Sunrise breaks through
The silhouettes of darkened
Branches as I walk along a
Path that I've walked many
Times before while musing on
The path of life and dreams.
As the chirps of birds
And other living creatures
We can't see begin to
Awaken their day and mine.
Allowing my love to flow free.
As my thoughts fall upon
My Lord's heavenly joys.
Could heaven be more than this,
A moment so full of bliss.

Quite the rhetorical question--'could heaven be more than this'. Our Lord is wonderful to sometimes give us a glimpse of Eden before the fall. I've written a poem called Eden Before the Fall--long drawn out meandering thing compared to your more succinct depiction that only needed an early morning stroll. Nicely done. God bless
