Black on black where darkness hides me
Shadows weep for love that’s failed
My cherished dreams that were before me
Have gone to sea they’ve all set sail

In pain I cried out for your mercy
From deep to deep I called to you
Like cooling showers in the summer
Your love came down my heart renewed

You take the heart that’s filled with pain
With gentle rain wash wounds away
And piece by piece restored this way
For healing love…abides in you

Spirit lead me from these hollows
Away from twilights drowning sorrows
Save me in the midnight hours
living water shower me
