[SUP]3 [/SUP](Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.) Numbers 12:3
Moses was a meek man.
Meek is not weak...the words only rhyme.
"Meekness does not identify the weak but more precisely the strong who have been placed in a position of weakness where they persevere without giving up. The use of the Greek word when applied to animals makes this clear, for it means "tame" when applied to wild animals."
moses was asked by God to come near.
Warned to remove his shoes.
Shon from the glow of being with the Lord.
Moses ventured to that Holy Mountain again and again.
Weak men begged him to go for them.
Moses had a temper...and righteous anger.
And on occasion, prideful will.
Moses overcame his fears - with God's gifts
Moses allowed God to work through him.
Moses brought slaves out of Egypt - one man under God.
Not weak...just meek. Very meek. -student
