The woman with the issue of the blood, who touched Jesus' garment and was healed.

wrote this some time ago, hope you enjoy-

Troubled and desperate, her faith was strong
Crawling to the Light, indeed it shone
The state of her illness, it had been Long

She sought physicians to make her whole
But they made her worse
And grieved her soul

She spent all she had
And was nothing bettered
But in the Son of man, her faith was anchored

She stretched forth her hand
Toward the light
And she touched his garment ever so tight

On this cause there was no more sorrow
The issue had ceased even unto the morrow
By faith was healed, made whole, repaired

The Lord is Loving
The Lord is Blest
The Lord is my refuge when I need rest

Love your poem! This subject/ Biblical passage is close to my heart, as I understand an unresolved long-term health problem! Keep glorifying God with the talent He has given you!Love your signature quote in your profile!

p.s. My thought on the line "The Lord is Blest" (He is the author of all blessing and has no needs, so He needs no blessings. We can give Him praise/worship/glory/service, but don't think blessings. Make sense?) poetry line redo suggestions... we are blest or the Lord does bless, or the Lord knows best
