She longed to live, while you were already living
She wanted to love, while you were already loving.
Half of the picture had died, day by day, by day…
She wanted to fight for air, while you were already breathing.
The salt water was filling her throat, day after day, after day….
She wanted to wake, while your eyes were already open.
Selfishness caused her knees to ache, causing her to collapse in her own mistakes…
She wanted to understand while you already knew…
Hope whispered blood to her bones and escaped out her lungs.

Your poetry is greatly unique no one like it a beauty that is not average but rare and special to God because it comes from the heart of your soul and how you perceive Him His work in you it takes reading it more than once to feel it because of its profundancy GBYIA

You have no idea how great it is to hear that. I realized I can't write when I try too hard or I'm not vulnerable, if I'm not talking or writing, then something's wrong, there's a glitch when I'm afraid to see what's been bottled up. That's why I love this quote "Write drink; edit sober." Because it's a statement, not a demand. If it were a demand then my poetry wouldn't "flow" out.
I've been writing more than I ever have in awhile, and I didn't think anyone was interested, so this is great, thank you! x)
