God Wants to Save You

Hello friend, I just wanted to say

That you are on my heart today
I have something I would like to share
I want you to know that Jesus cares

God is so loving, forgiving and kind

He always has you on His mind
So no matter what your situation
Know that you are a cherished creation

Sometimes our paths are hard to see

But God wants you in His family
I have been guilty of terrible sins
But God cared enough to bring me in

We've all had to deal with guilt and shame

But Jesus freed me when I called his name
He wants to do the same for you
To accept is all you have to do

Oh, i forgot to mention that I was asked to write a poem for the purpose of making Gospel tracts. This is what I came up with. This should be a good opportunity for my words to reach a lot of people.

Sounds nice and good effort, but we must remember that God will save those for whom He died for. By stating He wants something that He doesn't get accomplished seems to be contrary to His omnipotence. I know it may seem I'm straining at gnats here, however the doctrine of God is very important and must be expressed as clear as possible in every aspect that it is dealt with.

We are to live in the example that Jesus Christ laid out for us. Not to dispute about it. JerryJones. God says the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

Jerry you read it wrong, he never made the statement you are claiming. Stating he wants something doesn't mean or say he hasn't or won't accomplish it himself. But rather we are the salt of the earth, disciples of our lord. And are called to share with others the gospel of his mercy and grace. Not legalism

It is more of the statement "God wants to save you" emphasis on God wants, which gives implication that He may not necessarily get what He wants. Perhaps stating something in the lines of God commands you to repent and believe the gospel. Of course that can be done in a more poetic format than how I just expressed it, but does not necessarily have to show bad theology or give hint towards the possibility of such.

Seems like if you disagree with them, they're a troll. The concerns he expresses are very real. We should seek to speak truth in all matters, even in poetic expression.

This thread is for sharing poetry for the purpose of encouragement and edification, not to debate on biblical doctrine or viewpoints. The ''no free will thing is nonsense and i will not waste my time debate it. I say again, that's not what this thread is for.

Hey Dude!

You are free to express your heart and soul experience, that in itself is not critiqued or criticized by the Lord maybe others that look and feel doctrinal approval, so let it be in your heart the true heart felt expression from your own soul let others not bruise or harm your soul but keep it as they will not be present at your bema seat appraisal and you also will not be present at their bema seat appraisal. What you say and write you will account to or be rewarded they in turn will also account and be rewarded for what they say and the intentions with it. You will not be accountable for their word and they will not for yours, let them say what they want guard your own heart and soul in the Agape of Jesus.
Peace and joy in the fruit of the Holy Spirit to you and to all in the Lord Jesus. GBYIA
