Brick by brick
I set my fortress
I guard my little
Heart of stone
With a mix of
Broken bone &
Stuff unknown
A few windows
& fewer doors
Makes it simple
To find my
"owie's" and
Throbbing sores
Deadbolts, keys,
Chains, & stores,
Hinges, locks,
& rusted knobs
Torch mounts,
Helms, spears,
Shields & swords
& Skeletal ephors
Pish posh,
Irrelevant &
Or redundant
It what it seems
But blood continues
It's flow,
It's streams
Out of the wounds
And broken dreams
Of what used to be
I'm Yours

I felt like writing something emo. Enjoy.

This emo poem made me smile. But mostly because of the last two words, thinking of skillet. And it is well written. So... you shouldn't be sad, emo kid. :)

Although I'm yours isn't actually a lyric in Yours to Hold. But it did make me think of skillet.
